An update on the cat tree! I think Missy must have been reading these messages and took exception to my "boys" comment! Not only has she taken to using the cat tree, but also climbing on and over other things too! I found her on top of my book shelf this morning, which is really quite unlike her! She was meowing away very happy with herself!

The cat tree is by no means the centre piece of their activities, but yes, they do use the tree on a daily basis, they like climbing it, scratching the posts, chasing each other up, around and over it, and of course sleeping on it! Max especially likes sleeping on the top shelf some nights and I think Stripey wishes he was small enough to climb up there too!

Missy rarely bothers with the tree, but the boys like it! I suppose boys will be boys, even when they are cats!

I just revisited your Cat Tree thread, and I'm curious -- do your cats still use your (most fantabulous) tree, or have they grown bored with it? I ask simply because Her Most Persnickety Furriness (AKA Maneki) is easily bored, and I don't want to go to the bother and expense of getting her a cat tree only to have her use it once.

Meanwhile, I hope all is well in your household!

Well, it was the red half moon chairs that originally caught my eye, so I guess I can't be colour blind!

You know I really do think that my blond hair sometimes turns itself into blonde hair! (blonde being the feminine form of the masculine blond, purists of English make such distinctions, but humor goes where it must!) I even had a few pictures that supported my assertion, but these have since been padlocked away in a wooden box, which in turn was encased in concrete, which in turn was encased in lead and then buried several miles down in the Earth at some random location. Oh, I also threw away the padlock key, just in case!

The food really did look very good at the Red Door with the red chairs, but perhaps I'm just easily pleased! And yes, oddly enough the food did seem to disappear from the tables quite fast! And I think from my table fastest of all!!!

you're sure you're just a dizzy blond and not color blind?? I've always thought a dizzy blond is a female...or you have a softer side to you??

wow, you must really love the food there, to go so far as to recommend all items on the menu while it's there. do the items make quick disappearing acts while we're looking at it?

I think perhaps both, especially with you being Queen vampire and all!

Did the restaurant I go to have a big red door? Quite possibly! But then it could equally have had any door made of any colour and I wouldn't have noticed, on account of being dizzy!

If you go there, then I would recommend any items on the menu, and would go as far as including any items actually ON the menu, at the time you are looking at it!

What I also liked was the really sturdy and shapely glasses the drinks were served up in!
