Re: Simon's Cat

And this could be Stripey if I gave into his longing eyes and drooling tongue every meal time! {shy}

All right, Simon. 'Fess up. Is it merely a coincidence that these cartoons are titled 'Simon's Cat' ?

Or do you doodle in your spare time?? {catwink}

It is merely a coincidence! {wink} I only wish I was so talented! {good} I do doodle in my spare time, but my doodles somewhat resemble something that Stripey might paw paint while happily chasing his tail round and round! {shy}

Say, are you missing a fiscal opportunity there?

People are now paying a fortune for paintings that elephants have done with their trunks. Have you considered offering Stripey some paint pots and a canvas? He might be the next canine Klimt or puppy Picasso. {cool}

Re: Simon's Cat

LOL...the cartoon Simon's cat reminds me of my Blackie & Yin. Blackie would jump on my bed, pull my hair with his teeth or bite my feet through the comforter at all hours of the night through to dawn.

Yin would make all sorts of demands like clean the litter box that she has just used, feed her (there is a bowl of kibbles but she wants to be hand fed, kibble by kibble), or even telling me that there's a bird outside our window. Or, sometimes, she just wants a conversation. And if I ignore her, she would paw my arm, and if I still ignore her, stick her nose under my nose to check if I'm breathing, and sometimes even lick my lips to try to resuscitate me! {ohmygod}

Stripey likes the idea of being the first Doggie Dali! {good} Although I'm not sure about missing a fiscal opportunity, perhaps a very big sausage opportunity, Stripey's preferred currency! {shy} And he says all advanced payments are welcome! {shy}{shy}
