How do i make my dog sleep in the dog house?
 

My dog won't sleep in her dog house. She would rather sleep in the dirt floor. what can I do to get her to sleep in the dog house? {oh}

Alice, why is it important to you that your dog sleeps in the dog house? Is it because you've paid money for the dog house and you want her to use it? I can understand that, but your dog can't! {wink}

Your dog will want to sleep where he or she is most comfortable, or perhaps where he can get the best view of what's going on in the garden/household/street. It's important to provide a place where the dog can get in out of the hot sun and the rain, but on a normal night, the dog may be coolest and most comfortable sleeping on the dirt floor. It's really important to remember that your dog is a dog -- not a human. A fancy doghouse that looks like the Istana Negara (a small version) may be wonderful to our human eyes, but we need to focus not on what amuses us, but what will make our dogs truly happy.

I know that she likes sleeping on the floor, but the floor is so dirt that is bad for health. Not because I bought the dog house, I want her sleep on a more comfortable place.
