Scam? Yes or not?
 

Hi All... i just want to share something with all petlover. I was looking for mate for my boy. Then i saw this website with this person email on it ( lawchock2000@yahoo.com). I email to this person regards to the puppy he selling. This the responds i got from this person email:-

"This tiny little boy and girls will just take your heart away! They have that
tiny teddy bear face & a huge thick coat! they are very playful & they
have a lovable personality! They also likes to strut her stuff & prance
around to show off. This tiny boy and girls is definitely a little DIVA. They
should mature to aprox 4 lbs as an adult! These puppies are current on all
vaccinations and de-wormings; 100% Lifetime Health Guarantee.They are 13weeks old .Attach to this mail you shall fine some of their pictures hope you shall love them.I would like to ask you some few
questions if you do not mind.
1...Are you a breeder??
2...have you been keeping pets??
3...Do you have kids at home ?
4...Are you going to keep her or give them to someone?
5...How soon will you want to take pups or pup?
6 ...Where are you located??
7....Do you want one or both?

This person enclosed really cute picture of the puppy. After i have answer all this question (like normal) but It reply back which is really weird.

you in Malaysia. They shall do the delivery on my behalf. you shall
pay to the just for the cost of the deliver which is RM600. attached

I was {scared} OMG.... is this another way to scam people to buy dogs? Please be careful Petlover....

YES! 100% SCAM!

Sportycat, pls read older post in PF on scam alert. The previous scam tactic is simmiliar.

-Malaysia working in Sin (they are actually fr Africa but which part can't rmb)
-Puppy belong to daughter but she pass away, so buzy working and mourning mother wanna give puppy away to a loving home
-Ask same questions. eg: wats ur dog experience, got children etc

Lastly ..... Puppy is free but you gotto pay the transportation fee which is $600. Ask to to bank into a certain account.

If you didn't bank in by certain date that the scam-er fix, they will cont sent u email and preasure u to do so.

Good thing you are cautious and do your search 1st in PF. Pls dun fall for this. Good luck!

The answer is most certainly YES. That is a scam. But it's not a scam to get people to buy dogs. Did you ever see a dog? No! You saw a photo of dogs and a bunch of promises.

Look at the advertisement. "100% Lifetime Health Guarantee"
Now, tell me. Does that make sense? If the dog should fall ill and die in 5 years, is he going to refund your money?

This also nonsense: There is no "UN Rehabilitation Program for Poor countries." Doesn't exist, and if it did, do you think they'd be posting people in Singapore?!? {shy}

The PF administrators opened the Scams section to educate us all about scams like this. Another member just posted her own sad experience with this same scam (in her case, she paid for the transport for "free" British short-hair kittens, banking money into an account in Cameroon.) It sounds like you stopped short of giving these con-men any money, which is good, and I hope you didn't give them any of your personal details, because identity theft is another serious risk.

I'd like to figure out a way to catch these con-men & feed them to my cat... {angry}
