Travelling with kittens (MAS Airlines)
I'm planning to take the kittens I rescued home (Kelantan) this September by plane but I have problems getting information how I can do so from MAS websites. Also tried calling them but they kept passing me to different departments {mrolleyes}
I know there's the MASKargo. The person said I'll have to pay by the kilograms (RM 1.92/kg) but there's the documentations to do and I'll also need to go to the MASKargo building. That's not an option for me since the airport limo costs a lot (from KLIA to MASKargo - was told it costs RM 90). I read on AskMAS: (http://askmas.malaysiaairlines.com/F...y%26pageno%3D1) ..that I'll be able to take pets as accompanied baggage but I don't really understand what that means. Any has experience or knowledge on this? Thanks in advance! |
Re: Travelling with kittens (MAS Airlines)
When you book your air ticket with MAS inform them that you are bringing a cat with you. Your cat will be charge as excess baggage apart from your allow baggage weight, it is normally charge higher then the excess baggage weight for live stock.

Hi Coony,
Thanks for replying to my post. I'd already booked a couple of months ago. As for the kittens I had not had them before so it's just a recent decision to take them along. |
