Looking to buy cheap fishtank in Penang!
 

Someone I know got a pair of parrot fish and I heard they need A LOT of space... o.O So I'm getting a fish tank, I perfer one that's not over RM50 but I know it's almost impossible if I want a big one. ^^;

Anyone selling a second-handed or know where I can get a cheap fish tank that's bigger than erm.. a spaghetti jar...

Paying in cash! I would also be glad to pay shipping fee as the person that needed the tank won't be able to drive... haha, I'm out of town starting next week but her fishes' lives are important too so you know.

any tank smaller than 2ft tank is consider small for parrot fish. i think to fit a pair of parrot fish in a 2ft tank is just reasonably fine. but think again twice, in future, if you would to add more parrot fish or other cichlid into the 2ft tank, i think they will get more stress due to less of space to swim around, some may ended up have torn fins fighting each other for territory (may end up dying).

i think most of the aquarium shops we can see near our homes will have cheaper price than the ones they are selling in shopping malls. if you happen to go around kepong, there are a few shops i have come across that sells just the 2ft tank (without the steel legs that supports like a table stand) is about RM50+/-. {wink}

you need to get those glass type then it should be within your budget..but normal one with pump...you hardly can get for 50
minimum also RM100+++

i thought penang near the town center got one specialize fish tank.... but might not be in your range..but no harm go look/peep
which has 3 storey ..........

i went once and i love their fish tank .......{good}

even if you are gettin a glass tank, say 2ft (without the steel stand), plus a filter pump (for 2ft tank flow), it will only cost you about RM60-70. {wink}
