Never stumbled upon any breeder having this.

Ive heard of maine coon, exotic, munchkin,spynx ..not this as the characteristucs not much diff from a white dmh with fluffy tail.

Pure breed comes with a luxurious price tag too.. u might need 8-15k

Cfa certified breeders are tough people.

But nit wrong to try if h wish for one :)

hi,saya baru join petfinder,.{happy}..I have one turkish angora cat,3month old,female..she have blue and green eye..i adopt her from someone who rescue her...when i adopt her,i didnt know she from turkish angora fmly..i just take her,.i search in internat and OMG,she turkish angora breed..{love}{love}{love}..

I had this breed in 2005 ... i had 6 of them... Turkish Anggora is a home-cat... always accompany you at home... I miss "Mak Teh" --> this is the 'Ibu' ... we call je putih... but then she has very motherly attitude and we call he Mak Teh ... hihihih.... it a bit difficult to get the breeder... just careful with the cert. as some of the unethical breeder 'create' their own certificate.. but I started to give away my TA ... when one of them died with FIV .... so sad....

I wish you all the best... try to get it posted if you are lucky to get one TA .. make sure that you alway 'talk' to them hihihih.. owhhh I miss Mak Teh now...{cry}{cry}

Nice to see so many who are fond of Turkish Angora.

A long time ago, I came across this breed by adopting one myself from a feline rescue centre in Dubai. Blue eyes and although he was deaf, it was never an issue. In fact, it was a great experience and felt more like a bonus over their known great phenotypic personality traits - extremely smart, tender, expressive, affectionate and playful.

Long story short, regret for not bringing him back to Malaysia. Till today, I am on my relentless pursuit to once again get my hands on this special breed.
