gigi chitam patah lah..nak bagi die makan makanan ape ye?{sweat}die tak nak makan since gigi die patah..die lemah je..{scared}nak bg ape ye??perlu ke bawa pegi vet??makanan tak sesuai ke??currently i bg die blackwood.Yang lain okey die seekor je gigi die patah..

patah?? you mean he broke all his teeth?? kesiannya.bg dia wet food or kibbles soak with water.amacam??

Yer betul tuh...bagi makanan yang lembut atau kibbles tu chitam blender atau tumbuk skit bagi halus dan mudah tuk dia makan.....mungkin sebab dia terasa sakit bila kena gusi tu sebab chitam tak mau makan.
Lelama dia akan biasa lepas dia cuba makan dengan guna gigi yang lain....

da buat kak june ... campur ngan susu semalam... dia hidu... pandang saya... pas tu blah...{scared}...

pagi nih belikan dia pocket whiskas... baru nk makan!!

any suggestion for dental care? camner nk cari food yang ader kalsium yek?

kucing saya pun ada patah gigi... tapi satu je...nasib saya nampak..
tapi die ok je...makan macam biasa je...itu lah saya pun pelik, adakah kucing akan patah gigi untuk tumbuh gigi baru macam manusia ???

soalan pertama,mcm mana dia patah gigi?? soalan kedua, iya tak iya gak,blh tumbuh tak gigi dia?he!!he!! cuba tanya vet.

klu dia dah makan wet food nampak gaya dah oklah cuma chitam larat tak larat nak bg dia hari2 wet food. hmm!!!

memula bagi wet food.. selang seli ngan soaked kibbles...(lembut sket).. try dulu.. kang tak la parah asyik demand wet food je.. hehe.. patah natural ke atau patah exsiden? kalau natural... dont worry.. mmg mcm tu.. my atam pun ada luruh satu gigi.. tapi peliknya.. giginya tidak dijumpai... huhuhu.. tertelan kot.. {shy}

Saya pun lupa nak tanya Chitam umur berapa ya..?
Kucing semasa kitten memang ada gigi susu...gigi nya akan patah dan tumbuh balik...tapi dalam proses ni kita kena bagi dia makanan yang lembut2 sebab nanti gusi dia akan sakit dan radang, jadi nanti dia tak nak makan...

Ni ader sikit info pasal gigi kucing yang saya cari di Internet...
Saya letakkan lain2 info kat thread baru...ok

A Cat's Teeth: Timetable and Functions

During its lifetime, a cat has two sets of teeth, a deciduous set and a permanent set. Kittens have 26 deciduous teeth (molars are absent); adult cats have a total of 30 teeth.

Deciduous or “milk teeth” begin to appear when the kitten is about four weeks of age. At six weeks of age all 26 deciduous teeth are present. From 11 to 30 weeks of age, kittens lose their deciduous teeth. During this time they may eat less because of sore gums.

When the deciduous teeth fall out, they are replaced by 30 permanent teeth. The permanent teeth should be in place by about six months of age.

A cat's teeth are well-suited to rip and cut. Twelve tiny teeth in the front of the mouth (incisors): six in the upper jaw, six in the lower jaw do some scraping. They are flanked by two upper and two lower canines, sometimes described as “fangs,” designed to hold prey and to tear flesh. Ten sharp premolars and four molars act together to cut food.

A cat occasionally retains a deciduous tooth after the permanent tooth appears. This deciduous tooth should be removed as soon as possible to avoid displacing the permanent tooth.

Extra teeth are occasionally found in cats. They should be removed by a veterinarian if they cause crowding or injury to soft tissue or other teeth.

OoOoOo... Chitam da 6 month da... dapt jugk la tgk gigi dia... gigi dia berlubang... agaknya... masa tgh gigit kibbles tu gigi dia patah...

{mcry}... dia mmg demand wet food da la nih... {mcry}{mcry}... tapi pagi tadi tinggalkan dia ngan kibble yang da rendam ngan susu... tak tau la dia nk makan kerr tidak...

semalam lagi la... dia bantai relex jerr dok ujung beranda... panggil2 angkat mate jerr... acah2 merajuk... tak bagi makan wet food... pastu... tunjuk kat dia pocket whiskas... berlari datang... tercium..cium... {mcry}... koyak poket!!
