4 more cute kittens for adoption
 

This was supposed to be a thread for 2 more kittens, but when I arrived at Jimmy's shop yesterday to shoot them, there were 2 more that were homeless, in a matter of a few days of the arrival of the original 2.

At this rate, the homeless are increasing faster than we can find homes for them. So, please, everyone, please spay or neuter your pets.

If your reason for breeding a domestic, be it long hair or short, is that you want a kitten, don't breed. Nueter/spay them. You can always get a FREE, cute kitten from Jimmy's shop.

He has been rescuing homeless cats and kittens in Sri Petaling and fostering them in his shop temporarily until homes could be found for them all this while, and I only got to know about it end of last year.

So, without further ado, allow me to introduce these 4 young kittens to you.

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Age: 3 months+

Gender: Male & Female

Dewormed: Yes

They are very affectionate, purring away as Cookie stroked them while I shoot away. And they kept going back to Cookie for more sayangs. {grin}{grin}

These 2 below just "arrived" yesterday, so they are still a bit apprehensive. Give them a week to settle down, and they'll be as playful and affectionate as the above two.

Jimmy,Charlene,off topic story. Lately I saw many beautiful cats near the stall at my work place and home.They are definitely not strays.Some are DLH.Last nite I saw beautiful tabby with fluffy coat and bushy tail at the stall near my house. I went to tapau my dnr when I saw that tabby bushy cat. I asked the stall owner and they told me somebody dumped the cat at their stall a nite before {ohmygod}

Normally I will bring small tupperware containing kibbles to feed the strays if I see them.But now I have to bring big tupperware.Sign of increasing of strays.My husband also did the same thing. It really saddened me.Who should we blame?? the cat owner?? economy crisis hit everyone I know.Wonder if they will throw their children as well.

I like the second picture. The white and chocolate kitten seems to have "Angeline Jolie" lips. Hahaha, so cute. You know this chap has the palest of blue eyes with an interesting twist of tail. I wonder if he will grow up to deep blue eyes.

It was only yesterday that I mention the homeless possibly hitting the 600 mark faster then we expect with the dull economy & here we are it is already 606 & no changes to the adopted.

June, it's no excuse for pet owners with the economy crisis we had to know how capable we are before we want to own any or how many, the same with our life. I wud truly want to see this ppl dumping their family members out into the street when the recession hit & it is definitely closer then we thought. Don't believe whatever rosy picture the authority paint you, open your eyes & look around you.

June, if you ever find out who threw out those cats, I'll go with you to their homes and throw urine bombs into their homes. That will teach them that pets are not disposable. {angry}

Out of 66 pictures, when I saw that picture of the white and chocolate kitten with the luscious lips, I knew I had to use that picture. {shy}{shy}

Off-topic: Angelina Jolie is one of my favourite actresses. This lady has a heart of gold. After filming that movie (don't remember the title) where she saw how the less fortunate in Africa suffers, she started adopting them. And she continued doing that, even though the rest of Hollywood said unflattery things about those adoptions.

but u are right. the happy numbers remain unchanged, while the homeless keep increasing. {sick}
