Has anyone ever used sunlight to assist a jaundice dog?
 

I have a 6 year old mini schnauzer. Long story short he was healthy until 1 week when developed severe hives. He is now fighting for his life due to liver damage. We don't know if the hives caused the liver damage but that is the current thought. I asked the Vet why they are using sunlight or a billiruben light that they use on babies to help him. The answer was they never had done that. So I asked why not? Has anyone ever done so?
