DIY Cat Product
maybe some of us wud love to DIY out own cat product...let us share it with others..and I feel that some of the DIY product much2 better then pet product that sell in the pet shop...

Iman,ko tau semalam adik aku kat UK bg aku link website kedai yg jual2 brg pets for dog/cats. huhuhuhu!! aku mo gila tengok barang2 tu.jauh lagi murah dari sini.jauh!!!!! sangat.aku dah order beberapa dan nanti dia balik KL ujung tahun ni dia bawa sekali.aku malaslah nak beli yg besar2.susah gak dia nak bawa.ko bayangkan scratch post yg kita beli rega RM40 kat sini kat sana 1.5 pound sterling.ko tak gila dibuatnya.aku ada order gak sratch pad yg unik takde jual kat sini.itu harga 7 pound sterling.sesuai utk kucing aku yg jahat dan nakal. ada cat tunnel.

wah. you're so terror...you make that cat cage - good for sunning the cats outdoor when they're tired of indoor... you're sure handy with tools. i have toyed with the idea of DIY the cat tree for a year already. i thought it'd be cheaper in the long run if i buy the necessary electric tools then make the cat trees - lots of pics and samples on the net...tapi my better half asyik ketawakan i..then kata waste of money how many times do i re-use the electric tools, etc.. suruh dia buat sampai bertengkar pun tak siap - sampai i dah keluar duit beli the cat tree but belum siap - papan-nya masih kat rumah i kalau you nak, i'll pass you the papan, not good quality tapi as the basic foundation - boleh lah pass as long as you put wrappings like sisal on it. can we form a DIY club? i don't mind joining it as i've always like it but my problem is getting my hands on the appropriate tools - mahal sangat kat sini okay nanti i post a few more samples of "simple" cat trees here...those that i feel are "do-able". |

wah..ada papan ek..can..can..letter can go to your hse with phyliss...hehe...I'm planning to do the cat tree my self...had print and redesign a few patern..hope tis w'end I'll be able to get some stuff frm hardware lah... to buy...frankly speaking...I can't affort it....otherwise dah lama beli...tools no prob..semua ada...{grin}...my stor dah mcm stoolman punya stor dah...semua ada....hehehe... infact I was planning to do cat bed...but unfortunatly..my mesin jahit motor dia rosak...so now hantar repair....{ohmygod}..hope by next mth ok kot..then boleh mula projek cat bed...hehehe.. here some contoh how to make your own cat bed... i'll start with the materials list: pet measuring tape scissors grocery bag (for pattern) 1 or 2 towels durable canvas (for bottom) polyfill (about 20 oz) *you can also use regular cotton fabric, fleece, flannel, whatever! i like to use the towels cuz there snuggly and you can find some really great coordinating prints for cheap at the discount stores.i also like them because they are macine washable. you can just stuff the whole darn thing in the washer. okay, so here we go... http://prettylittlethings.typepad.co...t_a_copy_3.jpg http://prettylittlethings.typepad.co...t_b_copy_2.jpg http://prettylittlethings.typepad.co.../pt_c_copy.jpg |

some sample of my cat cage that I build with my daugther kat balconi belakang rumah...as u can see my daughter standing inside the cage...and still a lot of room..even I can stand inside easily...the cage just for them to panjat2...lepak2...and play hide and seek..the door 24/7 open... |

cat tunnel You Need: Two or More Paper Bags or boxes from the Grocery Store Scissors Glue Tape Cardboard Construction Paper Glasses and Bowls to Trace Around Pencil Pictures from Magazines Kitty Instructions: While your paper bags/boxs are still flat, trace around a bowl on the bottom of each bag. Open up the bag and cut out the circles. These will be the doors. On the sides, trace around small drinking glasses and cut out. These will be the windows. Cut strips of cardboard to fit inside the paper bag to give it extra support. You especially want to support around the bottoms of bags where the doors are. Place two bags top to top, fitting one bag up inside the other about and inch. Glue or tape in place. Add other bags by cutting holes and taping new bags in place. Decorate with pictures cut from magazines. can i just buy the cat bed from you? {shy} i used to get minimum "C" for my art projects back in school. {grin} are you sure you don't want to consider going into business for custom made pet accessories?? i'm not handy with anything sorry lah..i hanya tahu baca aje - very boring person... oh yes, the papan i got it from a construction site - free mah when i asked..so doesn't look clean or smooth, needs lots of sandpapering somethingl ike that. |
