My Dog's ear is red and hot!

What's making my dog's ear red and hot. It makes him itchy also! Will it be harmful to him?!

vet is your man/woman's best friend's friend {mwidegrin} if u saw abnormality, goto the vet, dont try to be smart n try to figure out what is that about when it is still early {mblush}
