In the middle of last year my fiance got me a golden retriever {doghappy} (Peaches) from a petshop from petfinder. The guy sold it to us confirming first vaccination given. The vet confirmed, Peaches blood test result, distemper positive in one week {dogcry} . The vet said it was too late for her to survive and she died a week after that {cry2} .

The vet was sure that she got it from the breeders but the pet shop does not want to take the responsibility instead he tried to offer another golden retriever 4 months old ( for RM600 ), which can barely walk properly because he kept him caged, with long untrimmed nail and fur under his feet. And he even heartlessly {mevil} asked us why didnt bring the puppy in one week, he could have replaced (we had supporting letter from the doc). This is a life we are talking about here not things we just can exchange with a new one. We already fell in love with Peaches and we cant just return her and take a new one. Our hearts will suffer wondering what they did to her.

I am really upset {bad} with the petshop, he dont even feel sorry for us instead try to sell another dog. He even told us there will be big sale in coming month as he is opening a new shop and ask us to come over to see if we like another dog.

It has been almost one year now, me and my fiance still cant get over Peaches although we both got another dog. The bond was too strong even though it was only 2 weeks we had her {doglove} . Until today we just imagine how big she would have been now, how attached to us she would have been. {cry2}
