Hi...I'm new here and would like to learn how to trap wild stray dogs.
 

nice to meet you all.

We are learning how to conduct TNRM on stray dogs and found difficulty to catch/trap a wild dog which couldn't get near.

Can someone show me where to find a forum on how to trap a wild stray dog?
Or can we open a forum for it?

We have searched it at google and U tube. And hope to get more information for making the trapping successful.

Your attention and advises are important to us as there are about 5 female dogs hanging around and expecting will be on heat soon.

Hi, I'm helping out a team of rescuers doing this. The strategy takes time and lots of patience. They feed the dogs at a specific location a number of times and try to lure the leader of the pack to be close to them. Then once the dogs are comfortable with them they get them all in a house (big compound with fencing so they dont run away) and transport them to their new homes/ shelter/ vet.

I seems difficult but definitely doable with lots of patience. All the best to you!
