Perhaps it'd be good to clarify that the info above is not strictly applicable to the other cat bodies; CFA has a different policy on Siamese colour and pattern (and breeding policy) than the others....

Just FYI - Mrs Lucy Teo (Koh) passed exams and was awarded FIFe National judge status for Siamese in 1979, by Mrs Molly Oliver (then a board member of FIFe, later to become President) and Lucy also...

Red (correct terminology) 'ginger' or 'orange' - whatever you want to call it - is not in the Bengal genepool. They have to be genetic black.
