interesting discussion... my mum also said the same thing..bulu kucing adalah najis...but i stick to jakim punya stand yg bulu kucing bukannya najis..its all depends on our intention just like what pakcu had stated earlier in this thread... and i remember reading somewhere that if a cat drinks out of your pan then you can drink it as well as make ablution with it. It is also believed that when our beloved Prophet Muhammad gave sermons within his household, he would often hold his cat 'Muezza' in his lap.
