your cat knows naturally how to eat meat. It just doesn't like the wet food which you offer. Did you try different flavors?
Did you check the gum too? My cat often has a gum infection and prefers tried food over wet food although he loves the scent.
I never saw a cat that doesn't like wet cat food. Some cats just don't like special brands/flavors.
