Default Don't Let Your Dogs Roam Freely

I read several articles in which owners in Penang said their dogs have been missing since the culling order was given. They suspect their dogs might have been caught by dog catchers who went out to catch strays.

ALL owners - not only in Penang, but throughout Malaysia - please DO NOT let your dogs roam freely outside your properties!

I received a leaflet by MBPJ years ago, stating clearly that ALL DOGS need to be LEASHED and WALKED BY HUMAN whenever they are outside of their properties - EVEN IF THOSE DOGS CARRY A LICENCE TAG!

I do not know for sure if this rule applies to other cities/states. Anybody who knows for sure please share.

But rules aside, it is always a good idea for us to walk our dogs - on leash - when they are outside our properties:
1. This will prevent our dogs from being caught - or worse, killed - in any official effort to catch/cull dogs
2. This would also prevent our dogs from going missing, whether they lose their way or they get caught by people who wanna keep them or sell them (or eat them!)

Now is an especially sensitive moment. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not let your dogs out without being leashed up AND without human supervision!!!
