There is quite a lot of TNRM (trap/neuter/release/manage) going on in the KL area. NGOs like PAWS, SPCA, MDDB and others are actively advocating it for both stray dogs and cats.

Other groups, like TNRM (that's the organisation's name) and Myanimalcare are raising funds to subsidise spay/neuter/vaccination for strays. Many independent rescuers and animal-lovers are managing and feeding communities of feral/stray dogs and cats.
