Just my 2 cents worth..maybe ada la kot segelintir org yg lepas dah bagi kucing beranak pinak, then nak bagi pulak for adoption & suddenly insist org neuter/ spay...
BUT
I genuinely feel that sebahagian besar di PF ni actually adalah fosterers & rescuers yg rescue kucing2 stray ni. Rescuers2 ni dah tak tahan sangat tengok stray cat hidup melarat & they genuinely want to help curb stray over population. ..Takut kucing jatuh ke tangan back yard breeder adalah hanya salah SATU reason sahaja. Banyak lagi reason lain yg valid yg sudah banyak kali diketengahkan dalam thread2 yg lain.
So I hope, janganlah kerana a small number of people with shady motive, kita condemn pulak orang yang sincere with their intention to curb over population.
I boleh faham why some fosterers insist nak pergi vet sama2 ngan adopter.. ye la..masa nak adopt semua mulut manis..promise macam2..promise to vaccine, promise to neuter etc etc... but how does one ensure that the adopters will REALLY keep their word? The only way is pergi sama2 ke klinik lah.
I really don't think this should be an issue because at the end of the day...tak de siapa pun paksa potential adopter tu to adopt the cat. If he does not agree with the conditions of the rescuer, then just pick another cat to adopt. Ada beratus lagi profile lain dalam PF ni. Tepuk dada tanya selera
