I think Maine Coons have no problems in our hot weather, although I'm not sure how they're supposed to be kept cool. Jimmy would be a better person to ask.

MC has long hair, but my Blackie has short hair. Very dense short coat. The face is broad with puffs of thick fur, and he has a small little lion's mane. But his actual face bone structure is angular, if you push back the mane and puffs of fur on his head. BUT....he is a KUCING KAMPUNG!!! hehehe!!!
Simon sheded fur is free so no need to pay lor! haha......
