SPCA and PAWS are called "
kill shelters" because they put to sleep (PTS) a very, very large number of good healthy or very young animals which are surrendered to them.
A good example of "
no-kill Shelters" which DO NOT practise putting to sleep good healthy or very young animals is Furry Friends Farm because they believe the animals have a right to live, and they need lots of donations and kind, passionate volunteers to keep help these animals alive by providing food and shelter.
As such, please do give your ample donations to these "no-kill" shelters.
