This is a first for me registering myself for a forum that talk about dogs in a Malaysian context.
Great job whoever the creator is and whatever you intentions are. Charity, profits or a mix of both. You need not be ashame to make money from this venture.
As I was reading some articles, I find it ridiculous that certain pet owners / fosterers are dictating conditions and to the extent of formalising a contract with the adopters. What kind of nonsense is this?
Please respect those people who is about to adopt and give your pet a home.
And take care of your animal where you are unable to in the first place.
You are the one should be banished from keeping any pets. And people who adopt pets might not be new at what they do. So stop interrogating, dictating terms and conditions (which includes house visits) to those who are about adopt them. Who the heck are you to trespass into my house to look for your abandoned kitten or puppy? It is up to my convenience and at my terms that you are able to visit my house and the pet you gave up - it is not the other way around.
I have walked out from adoptions when their owners dictate they would not want their dogs to guard their house.
Is is not a cock and or a bull we are talking about - we are talking about dogs. Working dogs, utility dogs, miniature dogs are dogs. What is wrong with making full use of them when they are born with such innate talents?
Perhaps I am to old and could not figure out some of the arguments.
I am also sad that I read about Muslims and dogs thread which was turned into a warfare of sorts. Please! To each, his own. BTW, I salute that Mustaffa chap!
Since I am here, might as well let you chaps know I am looking for a male puppy for adoption. And yes, you can drop that "I-love-dogs-more-than-you" facade.
