the text i highlighted should cause u to be concerned. u said the person is from s'pore. that's what they do. u'll find the person who email u is not in s'pore, but probably in cameroon, if u were to check the isp trail of his message.

secondly, there is inconsistency in the details. the money is to be sent to the director of hq in cameroon, becos that's where the kittens will be shipped from. why cameroon, and not s'pore?

third, why call london for more enquiries about the shipping if they are shipping it from cameroon? why can't u contact cameroon?

AND FINALLY......two dead giveaways....

ONE: The address, 44 Hillside Garden, is in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. It is a residential area, with semi-detached houses.

I repeat: residential area NOT commercial area with offices. In London, u can't operate from a residential house.

TWO: The phone numbers are all wrong. The international code for UK is wrong, followed by the code for London which is also wrong.

This is definitely a scammer, please stop all your communications with him and do not make any payments.

They all operate on similar modus operandi, trying to give away pedigrees but require you to pay a fee for transportation, with a very suspicious mode of payment. Even if you pay it, there will be many more follow up problems and excuses which will make you pay even more, and you'll end up a big burn in your wallet and no pets at all. It is no different from the popular Nigerian scams.

The rule of thumb is not to get any pets from other locations - personally check out the animal and owner first before making any financial commitments to it. In fact, if you have working contact details of these people, I urge you to make police reports so that they can track down and prosecute these criminals. Even a working phone number would be useful as they can trace it via the telcos to the registered person.

If this is a member of PetFinder, please let me know asap so I take necessary actions on his account immediately.

Memang gelap mata kalau ada orang nak offer kitten se kiut gitu. Kalau Pakcu, memang dah setengah giler berangan...hehehe

. Tapi, Pakcu bangga dengan EJ sebab tanya kawan-kawan kat sini dulu, so terang-teranglah dia orang penipu besar. Betul kata Andy tu, mulanyer memangler 300 jer, tapi disebabkan kita ni mudah lupa diri dengan kitten secantik tu, last-last mau sampai 3-4 ribu habis terbang! Tu kalau kiter ni sedar time tu tapi kalau tak sedar mau lebih sebab kitten secantik ni atleast dalam 7-8 ribu sekor. Baru ni kawan Pakcu import kitten macam ni la RM 22,000.00 untuk dua ekor...(Dah sampai dah kat rumah dier, memang ler kiut giler...)
