Default my terrapin needs help

hye everyone! im eliya.
i just got a pair of terrapins 3 months ago as a birthday present.
a male n a female. i named them odie n elle.
elle is very timid, always hiding under the bridge. while odie is the active one.
always climbs the bridge, and play around.
but since yesterday, i noticed odie slept the whole time.
his eyes were closed from yesterday night, until this morning.
he was not active as usual. both elle n odie did not eat, i guess cuz their food was still there this morning.
i think he's sick but i really really dont know what to do.
is there any vet near shah alam that can treat turtles?
plz plz plz plz help me!!!!!!

btw, is it true that if we always touch them, they'll die?

Hi eliya... when you say terrapin, what is the exact species that you are referring to?
At this point I'm assuming they are Red-Eared Slider Turtles (Chrysemis scripta elegans). Now, how old are these turtles? What is their tank like? With the slider turtles, a lot of people get misinformed about their care. These turtles do need special care and one can't just put them in tanks, feed them and expect them to be healthy and live a long life.
I suggest you google up a care sheet for them and start from there...

how are your terrapins doing?

since this post was 2 years ago, if they survived means that you have figured a way out to take care of them. if not, & u r planning to buy some new baby terrapins, my advice:

they r babies, dont put too much water in the tank, they will drown (serious)

if they dont eat, put them somewhere warmer, beside windows where they can get direct sunlight, but monitor them, if not they got sun burn & die (yes, they r babies & they r fragile)

try feeding small tiny pieces of fish meat. it is their natural diet. it will open up their appetite
