Unhappy Tommy missing near Istana Budaya

My baby Tommy had misadventured with my dad yesterday morning. He like to rest on top of my dad's car, and somehow, my dad drove the car without realising him on top of the car. My dad only noticed when he saw my Tommy jump down and ran towards Istana Budaya near Jalan Tun Razak.
We've been trying to look for him the whole day. He's not an outdoor cat and always come back home to eat and sleep. I'm so worried about his safety.
He gonna be 2 this september. Golden Brown DSH, his two back legs has white socks . Wears red collar with bell and anti-flees collar. Scared of strangers.

If anyone sees him or found him, please do msg me or contact me. Please, please return back to me, so hard to sleep without him around. Missing him so much.

Smile Tommy found!

After a week missing,we are happy to inform that we found Tommy back. Tommy had been hiding in Istana Budaya and refused to eat any food given by the staff. The staff was worried about him so they to they took him to the nearest food stall. Thank god, the owner was a cat lover, he bought friekies for Tommy. He managed to ask people around and able to contact us. We are so grateful to him and his family. Tommy is a bit quiet and look so tired. He didnt want to eat, so he is really thin. I'll take him to the vet to make sure he'll be okay.
I would like to say thank you to those who prayed for Tommy's return. Thank you so much!

Congratulations on being reunited with Tommy!

Seems like he was pretty lucky and was treated well by the people around the area.

I think all pets should have collars with the owner's address and phone numbers on it haha.. saves a lot of unwanted stress and trouble!

hi andy

i'm glad tommy is happily reunited with his owners. i'm sure they (the owners) will learn from this episode.

i also agree with you that if cats are let to roam outdoors, they should be fitted with a collar / tag containing the owner's address as this will help with easy identification and return to owners.

however i feel that it is advisable the collar should be those safety type with detachable strap. this is so that if the cat is ever caught on his/her collar, a pressure or tug on the collar will ensure easy release of the collar so that the said cat will not get strangled or choked by its own collar.
