i don't have much to do at work nowadays.. recession..

and.. a little rat snake showed up in my mum's kitchen one day. we didn't know what to do so we just closed the kitchen door and called the guardhouse. the guards called perhilitan and they came and picked up the snake. turns out the little dude was just mildly poisonous and quite young.

lynie....i keep forgetting to ask u.......were u at the world animal's day event at kl tower? were u at the spca booth, with some cats for adoption that were in cages?

the reason i asked is after seeing your photo with your ears backwards , i kept thinking i've met you before. it took me a while to place u, but i think it was at that world animal's day.

no, there wasn't anybody wearing ears that day at the spca booth. yes, i remember your 2 kittens, but i don't remember what cats were at the booth. but i did remember a tall lass who tried to talk me & my friend (another girl) into adopting the cats. and i just realised that that pretty lass might have been you!

i doubt you'll remember us.....but she said she already had...OMG! i don't remember how many cats she has....but she has a lot. then, you asked me, and i said i have one, and you tried to get me to adopt another. not knowing who you were then, all i said was that i would love to, but i can't.

aww.....we should wear an identification tag the next time we go to these events.

no, that was someone else, hehe. my friend & I were also looking at that pet cat.

actually, she went with her bf, while i went with my hubby. we arranged to meet there. but both our guys disappeared from our side as they found our conversation too girly.

hahaha....i won't liken you to olive....you're much, much prettier than olive.

hahahaha aww you're sweet. ok that's it, i'm going to tell my friends to stop calling me Storky and chinese chopstick. hmpf!!

you saw that awesome cat too?? it was great yeah? i've never seen a cat so comfortable out in public and in a crowd before.. no leash even.. just hanging out among the people and numerous dogs. very cool!! i tried to get the owner to adopt mr fluffers and cocochino also.. she was interested in them but then never got back to me later..

anyhoo we've gone off topic again haven't we.. let me think of something to say about uninvited snakes.. hmm.. oh yeah once my aunt found a cobra in her toilet. this toilet was in her old house before it was renovated so the toilet was one of those gross squat toilets.. anyway she wasn't wearing her glasses when she entered the bathroom, so she could see a dark object in the toilet but it was blurry.. at first she thought someone pooped and didn't flush but then the "poop" started to move and rise.. so she leaned in for a closer look and it was a cobra...... no problem though, she just ran out of the bathroom and shut the door then screamed for help..

ya, tell your friends to stop calling you storky or chinese chopstick.... speaking of names, you know, when i was growing up, my own family members & relatives, not to mention friends, used to call me Long-legged Mosquito (loh ka bang = very tall mosquito in hokkien) because of my height. i became so self-conscious that i started walking with a little stoop.

yeah! i saw that incredible cat. it was amazing how the cat could hang on the owner's shoulder so nonchalantly as she walked amongst the crowd. how i wished i could take blackie out like that.

ok, let's get back to topic....hehe, vivien, a thousand apologies for hijacking your thread. wow, lucky your aunt wasn't bitten by the cobra. i shudder to imagine her leaning in for a closer look......the cobra could have just struck.
