For fosterers, how do you screen potential adopters?

We're fostering a litter of four kittens and a stray mama cat. We can't adopt them all -- we already have a dog -- so we hope to get them good homes. We plan to list them on petfinder, of course...!

I wanted to ask the experienced fosterers here, do you screen potential adopters? What questions do you ask? and any personal policies you recommend?
