I've heard that cats/kitten is not good for pregnant women/ baby's health.

They said that cats have some sort of virus la..which can cause abortion?

Hi, Xamenxi,

This is incorrect, and because of this misinformation, many pregnant women give up their cats for no good reason.

Alicia Ling Horsley posted a wonderful entry on her Pet Epicure blog on this topic some time ago, and she includes many links to informative articles.

Let's all work together to put this rumour to rest. There are already enough homeless cats!
