Well my topic is whether long hair or short hair is recessive or dominant. I can't really breed cats to see the outcome as that would be kinda irresponsible for me as i would have to breed countless kitties to actually get good data.
So I was hoping if you guys can help me. If you've bred a long hair cat with a short hair cat, what kind of kittens did you get? How many of the kittens were long haired and how many were short haired. I also need to know whether the mother was long haired or short haired vice versa for the dad as well. So i can see whether gender has anything to do with it. But hey its data right?
So hope you guys can help, with the data collection and hope to hear from you guys soon. Thanks!

Im not breeder ... :p but this is from my experiences .
Persian (male) + short hair (female, breed not sure probbly D.S.H) = 4 to 6 kitten , 1/3 male
Fur on body medium or long, tail fur longer than fur on their body..
Color, mix father and mother..more than 3 color female 1- 2 color male.
(Sometime color is totaly out of their father and mother..)
Hope this will help. ;)
