Smile Vaccination and Deworming HELP!!

Hello, can someone please tell me the latest price of vaccination and deworming? Is it ok to give the vaccination and deworming to my kitten that is only 2 month old? He is a half breed persian but he does not look like a 2 month old kitten. More like 4-5 month old kitten.

Occasionally, small and soft white worms keeps on going out from his butt. Geli laaa!!! Dah la bulu dia panjang, senang mende tu nak gerak gerak. So I need advice on this matter.

I bought him from a pet store, where non of the kittens are not being vaccinated and dewormed yet.

Also, can anyone tell me the price of vaccination in Heshmael's Clinic for Pets Sdn Bhd Kota Damansara as per 2013? I'm staying in Kota Damansara and so I prefer vets that are near to me. Any comments on that vet clinic?

Hi, Deekay -- shame on this pet shop! The kitten should at least have been dewormed. My advice is to take the kitten to the clinic that is convenient for you. The pricing for de-worming and vaccination varies only slightly from one clinic to another, and both must be done for the health of your cat. Also, the vet can give you a better assessment of your kitten's real age, based on his size and development. Good luck with him!

:)howdy

the description of small ,soft worms are no longer of rescuers expertise. u need a vet asap. put aside vaccination..the worms have to go first...and my advice.. dont do both on the same day..(good vet will know this)..

Clear the worma first :)

Thanks all for the advice!

I've sent him to Heshmael's vet in Kota Damansara for deworming. Charge us for only RM5 depend on the weight of the cat.

The doctor advices to not do the vaccine just yet and I need to wait for another week to get it vaccinated. The reason is the new cat that I bought needs to be stress free as he just moved to a new place. If he were to be vaccinated on that same day, the percentage for his existing virus would be activated by the vaccination med. Useful Info!

He's a really good boy when I bought him to the vet. Really quite and playful with the doctor :) I've made a research about the worms that keeps on coming out from his but which is actually a tape worm. Possibly due to fleas infected by other pet's in that store, or the food given in that pet store are not clean. Anyhow, its gone now!

Doctor even advise to deworm a kitten less then 6 month to be dewormed every month. Adult cat every 3 month.

Also since I bought him with the worm coming out from his butt, Doctor even advise that I get deworm as well. Ambil Ubat cacing zentel tu. Because he said that Humans can be infected by the tape worm as well.
