Who have interest became Therapy Dog program, have USA organization’s mission is to improve human health through service and therapy animals. who are involved in volunteer animal assisted activities. This organization evaluates, tests, trains, qualifies, and supports therapy dogs for the purpose of giving loving and empathic support in nursing homes, hospitals, psychiatric wards, and other facilities where emotional service dogs are indispensable.

As i knew at the moment Malaysia still don't have Therapy Dog program. Your question should check with the person claim themselves Therapy Dog program. Or you want me help you check with International Therapy Dog program officer.
To those dog want became Therapy dog, the dog must first pass Therapy Dog program Evaluation given by a Evaluator, and then register with USA Therapy Dog program organization.

I've watched a documentary on this. They use mongrels who were rescued from pounds in juvenile homes. By doing this, they teach teenagers with problems to love and trust again and also save countless dogs. Malaysia should have this program too..it will help alot
