Post Cat BASIC MENU> BY REQUESTS.

1. CHICKEN SOUP OR A SAUCE for raw or poach/steam meat on top.
Combine 1 chicken liver, 1 giblet, 1 chicken heart, 1 chicken neck, 2
cups water and 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley.
Cover and simmer until the giblet is tender.
Blended it until puree.
Note:
I used food processor. It is easy to just push puree and give you the right consistency. You can use supplement when it is already cool down (I used Vitamin E and EPO/Salmon oil). The cat won't know the difference.

2. BIRTHDAY TREAT FOR MY KITTY
1 - 2 poached fish, preferably salmon, with the skin and bones
removed
1 tsp. plain yogurt
Few drops of fresh lemon juice
Poach the fish. Then mix the yogurt and lemon juice and serve over
the cooked fish.

3. CRISPY FISH DINNER
1 egg yolk; premix with olive oil
1 small trout fillet
1 tbl olive oil
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Beat the egg, dip the fish in it. Put the
oil in a small baking pan and lay the fillet in it, turning it over once or
twice. Bake for 15 minutes, turn over and bake for 15 minutes more.
Remove the fish to a dish, allow to cool. Cut into bite-sized pieces.
Serving suggestion: if it looks a little dry, add the chicken sauce (refer from #1)

4. FISHBALLS
3 baby carrots,
1 canned tuna in olive oil, drained
1 steam fish, skin removed
2 tbl whole grain bread crumbs or oatmeal
2-3 tbl grated cheese
2 tsp brewer's yeast
Several pinches of chopped catnip
1 egg, beaten
2 tbl tomato pureed
Preheat the oven to 350*. Mash the carrots with the fish, bread
crumbs or oatmeal, cheese, brewer's yeast, catnip, egg and tomato
to an even paste. Mold into small balls and put on a greased
baking tray. Bake for 15-20 minutes, checking frequently: the fish
balls should be golden brown and feel firm. Cool thoroughly.

6. WEEKLY TREAT
1/3 cup cottage cheese
1 tbl chopped liver
1 tbl olive oil
Mix all together for 1-2 delicious cat servings

7.WELCOME HOME OR STRESS/FINICKY KITTIES
1 can tuna or salmon (can be mixed)
*I prefer to use tuna on newly homed cats
1/2 cup boiled brown rice
1/4 cup pureed liver
2-3 sprigs parsley chopped (chopped fresh or dry catnip can be added)
Drain the tuna and mix everything together. Make 6-7 balls and then pat them into patties. Serve to your cat.
Note: This can be fridge overnight under tight sealed container.

8. ANOTHER STRESS CAT
Catnip Tea Ingredients
2 tbsp Catnip (Dry and no fresh catnips available)
1 cup Water

Put the catnip in a bottle, pour in the water. Put the cap on the
bottle, and shake until the catnip tea is green.

9. My Mom's Bland Diet for Finicky
1 cup Chicken, boiled or steamed (no skin and bones)
1/4 Fresh broccoli, steamed
1/4 Shredded carrots, steamed
Chicken soup (refer no. 1)
Mix ingredients with enough chicken soup to hold together. This same
recipe can be used with fish. You can also vary the recipe by adding brown rice or other vegetables.

10. ALL TIME FAVORITE
3 cups raw or lightly cooked ground meat (beef, chicken, turkey, or lamb)*we grind the meat ourselves
1 cup raw or slightly cooked organ meat (kidney, liver, heart, lung)
1 raw turkey neck, ground or finely chopped (be sure not to cook)*optional
1 cup well-cooked brown rice
cup well cooked vegetable (broccoli, zucchini, carrots, squash or
green beans)
1 raw egg yolk
1 teaspoon olive oil

Mix all ingredients together, and then divide into individual portions. The less you cook the ingredients, the more nutrional it will be for your cat. If you freeze the individual portions, they will keep for several weeks and you can defrost one a day. When thawing, try not to use the microwave or another cooking method, since this will reduce
nutrient levels. Instead, let food thaw overnight in the refrigerator. To warm it, place the food in a plastic bags with zipper closure, then immerse the bag into hot (not boiling) water for 10 minutes. The amount of food prepared with this recipe should last for about 5 days for a adult cat of normal size. Your cat may eat more or less at each meal; use common sense to decide on severing size. Because this mixture is slightly lower in calories than dry cat food, you will need to serve slightly more of it in comparison. You can add in your supplements before serving.
But I always give them kibbles between meals. I never miss their daily supplements and routine visits to vet.

P/S:
1. If your kitties are allergic to food, avoid giving your kitty that has chicken meat content.
2. Routine de -worming and vet medical check-ups are necessary for the welfare of your kitties.

OTHER MENU:
1. LITTER BOX DEODORIZER
1 (16 ounce) box baking soda
4 teaspoons dried mint
Add the baking soda and mint to kitty litter. Stir it up, and keep it
clean. Store in a tight container. I preferred empty & clean cookie jars.

2. FELINE FLEA PROOFING
Add to the food for each adult cat:
1/2 level teaspoon brewer's yeast
1/4 level teaspoon garlic powder

3. MY MOM'S OLD FLEA REPELLENT SLEEP PILLOWS FOR ALL PETS
2 parts sage or rosemary
1 part catnip
1 part chamomile
Herbs may be used cut or whole. Mix enough to stuff a 2-foot square pillow for a cat or a 3-foot square (or larger) pillow for a dog. Sew the pillowcase out of a tough, washable fabric such as denim.

4. APPLE CIDER VINEGAR FOR DAILY NEEDS
a. 5 drops of ACV in 3 Liters of drinking water (dropper available in Pharmacy)
b. one cup of ACV mixed with water in bottled spray and 2 tbsp of Baking soda for disinfectant (prefer: pee/poo accidents on the floor, cages or playpen)
c. after rinse 1/4 cup of ACV in one pail of water
