Microchipping Services

Does any1 know where I can implant a microchip into my cat? N does Malaysia have a comprehensive database on the microchipped animals? Well there is no point rite if we have our pets microchipped but there is no online database to refer to? Pls advise

you actually can go to Jabatan Haiwan request for a microchip, if I am not mistaken it's on their HQ at Cheras and RM80 per pets. And our Malaysian system not that advance. Normally our basic info of microchip and certificate so that the cat that have pedigree breeds being acknowledge and can enter competition and also for identification especially when you want to moving to another country. Overseas their so advance until they can search missing pet using GPS.
