Default Can Optimise and Leverage on Petfinder.my network

hi

i have this thought. the petfinder's network is quite large and is mainly made up of animal lovers and volunteers working to rescue and rehome animals be it a personal basis or organisation basis.

is there anyway we can optimise/leverage on the size of this network to provide benefits to members?

such negotiating for and purchasing pet food/supplies so that members who opt to join in can get it at better than retail price.

this would be useful for those who rescue and rehome animals using their own finances. i'm sure they'll be glad of any help especially in this trying times.

i'm not advocating that petfinder.my form a company to purchase in bulk and resell to members. won't work out that way, i'm sure there'll be other ways to do it

maybe something like if we can obtain agreement by certain pet food distributor to sell at a certain agreed upon price for a confirmed amount of order per month or per year, maybe it'll work out.

what say you? workable?

never say never and never say "die" (although i always mutter this when i came across mistake in my work).

Yes, i was a very good idea. I know some of the rescuers are still students studying in college and uni, like me. Although many didn't mention, i think their budjet is limited. So if Petfinder can help provide these help, it will be very much appreciated.

In fact, i also like to suggest that could Petfinder develop an extra section listing all the people that are willing to shelter rescued animals? Because there are some rescuer, er, shame to say, like me, are able to rescue them but was unable to shelter them.

I know the vet and petshop can provide shelter...but it is tooo expensive.
