Petshop specialized in Cats

Hello, would like to ask if anyone happen to know any petshop/petstores in Klang Valley that specialized in Cats especially Persian non mixed? Or a reputable breeder for Persian? Been looking around but can't find any and most of kittens saw from pet stores are mixed persian else hardly see any kittens available.

Mochimallowee, I would discourage you from buying any pet from a pet shop. Why? This article from Free Malaysia Today gives ten compelling reasons:

I do not know any Persian breeders myself, but I would recommend going to cat shows when you get a chance. Talk with the Persian breeders there, observe their cats, and talk with them about their practices.

Alternately, check with the pet shelters, such as PAWS and SPCA, and keep an eye on the adoption listings here on Petfinder. People do surrender even purebred cats when they find they can't care for them, and these cats desperately need good homes. Good luck!

Hi Mochi,

Check out www.myanimalcare.org. There are some Persian Mixes up for adoption. Already neutered/spayed. At least 6-7 to choose from and you would be saving some lives. Best of luck!
