Re: Laksa..fiesta
kak Ina, restoran tuh kat belakang RHB bank...bila nampak Esso station, turn left, then another left bila you come across another junction sebab one-way street. Tapi, tak der dimsum lar, sorri.
hahah, tak tau lah whether pak Daniel tuh boleh bagi diskaun atau tak, tapi boleh cuba mention my name and see what he says.......dulu dia ader satu Chinese Muslim chef, skrg Muslim chef sajer, tapi dalam menu ala carte masih ader Chinese food, but cooked by pure Malay.
I don't go often because he doesn't want to charge me, so I feel pai say.
Kak Ina, restaurant tuh buka dari Isnin sampai Sabtu, tutup hari Ahad. Business hours dari 8 pagi sampai 7 petang. Err, kak Ina pun tau namer benar saya, so boleh lah cuba tengok ader diskaun tak.

ooops, lupa nak bagitau kak Ina......Pak Adam Cafe tuh bukan seperti chinese restaurant yang boleh order nasi, steam fish, steam prawns, tuh. Ia lebih sesuai kalau kak Ina is looking for fried koay teow, wantan mee, wat tan hor dll. Makanan cafe lah.

betoi kah? cook kat umah atau cook kat luar?
Oh yah, kak June suka makan Chinese food ker? U dok kat Shamelin.......there's one Muslim Chinese restaurant in Shamlin Perkasa, called Pak Adam. It's right at the back of one of those shop lots, on the left, if you come from Jalan Cheras.
This restaurant is halal, and serves Muslim Chinese food. The owner is a friend of mine, a former colleague from NST. Cookie knows him, too. But he's there only in the afternoons, as that's when there's a crowd. Ask for Daniel Cheah, and say you're my friend (err, use my real name, as he doesn't know my cyber name). Maybe he'll give you a discount, hehe!

Re: Laksa..fiesta
Actually I have eaten Assam Laksa from Laksa Shack, and the Jaya Jusco one and they are terrible compared to the one at Little Penang...
Little Penang is at Mid Valley, first floor, next to the bridge to Gardens.
Their Assam Laksa have two typs of fish, Ikan Kembong and also Sardine... it's way, way better!

Kitty, It's easy... when you're in mid valley, go up to the first floor... then walk toward teh bridge to the Gardens. Just before the start of the bridge, you'll see little penang cafe.... the design is old fashion, with old fashion tables, etc... you can't miss it...
