From what I know, When I gave my cat the Brit Care, she reacted nicely but soon after that her fur starts dropping everyday. So I didn't really use brit care anymore. I use Acana now.

Hi,

Im currently feeding my cat canned food which i believe is better compare to dry kibbles, but sometimes i have no time to prepare his food so i feed him orijen dry kibbles.

As I look through the ingredient for Brit Care,
INGREDIENTS:
Chicken and chicken products (min. 40%), rice, corn, chicken fat, dehydrated chicken protein, dehydrated corn, rice bran, brewer’s yeast, dried beet pulp, salmon oil, natural flavourings, natural fibre, minerals, DL-methionine, L-lysine, mannan-oligosaccharides, fructo-oligosaccharides, copper sulphate pentahydrate, organic selenium, niacin, calcium pantothenate, folic acid, choline-chloride, biotin, vitamin A, vitamin D3, vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol), taurine.

I think its ok, for the price. Corn and rice are not advisable for cat consumption but looking at the ingredient I think this brand is in the same level as Iams and Royal Canine. If u want to feed your cat with this brand i guess u have to make sure your cat have enough water intake everyday and cod liver oil for supplement to avoid the fur dropping.

Thumbs up Re: Brit care cat food review. Need advises from forumers ^_^

Hi,

My cats was on Blackwood when I was introduced to Brit Care during the Pet World 2012 in Midvalley. The petshop that I got my food supplies from is selling both brand at the same price. So I gave it a try.

The outcome? Well, they shed less, the fur is softer & thicker and they don't consume much (I think they stay fuller longer). So its good for my cats and my purse .

My first Brit Care Cat Long Hair Salmon and Rice (7.5kg) is finishing soon and I'm definetely sticking to it .

Hope it helps.
