Default DISHARMONY! need help!

i had 3 cats. Maxi momo and bonbon. I usually allow them to go out and look around since my four story apartment is really really low on traffic and my cats are ordinary ones(tak ada orang nak punya) usually of the 3, maxi doesnt go far as he is a scaredy cat. momo and bonbon would scour the whole 4 floors and eventually comes home.
maxi, momo and bonbon are the closest of friends. but momo and bonbon are closer.

a month ago i took in 3 kittens which one belongs to my sister, one i obtained from a student and the third from a fosterer. all is well, just some adjustments. the two kittens are for a friend of mine who just like me, living alone and seeking pet companion. hes picking the kittens up soon but not at the moment.

3 weeks ago, momo went out and didnt return. a week later bonbon went out to seek momo ( i guess). so it leaves maxi and the 3 kittens. about two weeks now and maxi is in a heat, he's one year old. meowing every night, and he has no problem with the 3 kittens which happen to be all female. he even tried to be close to one.

then today, momo returned ( i found him downstairs). suddenly all hell breaks loose. maxi growls constantly at momo and at the 3 kittens and getting aggressive (and he is the most pengecut). 2 kittens growls and hisses back. the youngest get pretty scared and pooping all over the place. constant fighting here and there, and momo is like...so cool like nothing happened, just hissing at all once a while. now the kittens see maxi rather than momo as an enemy. tension felt all over the place.

what happened? is it territorial? is it pact? or maybe a sinister plot?

now i put all 3 in a separate cage in a separate room, let them calm down, i definitely wouldnt throw momo back out.

i need some advice from you guys. i want to bring back the harmony. thx for reading the long msg.

regards

Yes, that sound to me that ur cat is ready to mate...cats are agressive when on heat...

Spay or neuter ur cats .... that's the only solution...
