Re: Suggestion to open Chinese and Malay Sections
hehe....ok, let me be kaypoh here for a second....
Vivi, DIMB was saying that yes, he learned his German from a friend, and that he doesn't think he's very correct. hehe....that's all I roughly understand. The other sentence, I'm not sure of his meaning.
Mrs Dolittle,
Your nick, translated into Chinese is indeed funny, as in funny ha-ha.
做一点太太
I don't really understand Mandarin, but I know those words. Literally, it means, "do a little bit, madam". But I think Dongdong meant it another way --- pretending, or trying to be a lady of leisure! Because the 太太 here could also be interpreted as a lady of leisure, you know, like a Datin.

Re: Suggestion to open Chinese and Malay Sections
Eh, Vivi, I just agak-agak only laa.....not 100% sure I'm correct. Only know a bit like ja = yes, you know, very simple basic words to lau-chiak lau-chiak (or, pian chiak, pian chiak, depending on which version of hokkien you know) hehe.
I know a bit of Japanese, and an even smaller bit of Korean. Weird, isn't it? I'm what you could call a Jack-of-all-trades, Master-of-none.

Suggestion to open Chinese and Malay Sections
Very pandailah Charlene that is exactly what DIMB said.German language almost similar to English but spelling wise similar to BM.for example correct in english but korrekt in German. From in English, vom for German.Friend in English,Freund in German. almost similarlah. only the grammar a bit difficult coz got gender and konjugation.

Re: Suggestion to open Chinese and Malay Sections
mrsdolittle, we will sure pray for your cat, hope it can recover soon!
Let me tell you one miracle in Tails Unlimited, there is a cat called YingYing. This cat was sick seriously, untill paralyzed, whole body cant move, just lying down there waiting for time. But Amy and Ruth never give up, they eveyday talk to it, force feed it, massage it, sayang it, hope miracle will come. Miracle really come, slowly he can move, can walk, until can jump, just as normal cat. He is like pearl in our heart, seeing him make us happy everyday, he is so cute and seems like want to thank us. But now recently the Orijen recall issue, coincidently it went paralyzed again because all 170 cats are on Orijen. 4 cats affected. YingYing again, but he seems to have strong will to live. We again everyday kacau him to "irritate" his nervous system, sayang him, force feed him, do anything we can do. Slowly, again, from fully paralyzed, then head can move. By this time two other cats cant fight with sickness, died. We are waiting for autopsy. We hope not Orijen because it is a good food.
Now guess how he is? Dr. Toh said waiting for time only, we can either PTS or wait for time to come. BUT, he can crawl, move slowly in it cage, and when we come, head turning around to see us, just like want to say he is recovering. We hope it will recover soon too. We believe in miracle.
