Exclamation A direct remark of an animal lover - is it too offensive or simply he was trying to reach out..

Hi everyone,

Nice day for Monday morning here in Pulau Langkawi...the sea n' its breeze is just perfectly amazing.

I just want to share with all members about one commentator in one of the Forum - a food for the thought or a point of view from an animal lover.

That is why I highlighted it 'coz the advice was really frank/direct remark which might be happening here also.

The remark is under the heading 'DOMESTIC SEMI LONG HAIR FOR SALE'

"sy rse baik awk jge je kucing tu,klu rse dh bnyak kucing, neuter all ur cat...rsenya alasan banyak kucing kat rumah tak sesuai, klu bnyk sgt msti awk dh bg kucing awk kt org yg betul2 nk jge die..tulis je kt situ, alasan nak jual sbb nak pki duit...klu stakat die punye maintenance brpe la sgt....aritu ada sorg seller, die jual kucing die,tp bukn dengan duit, just tukar kucing tu dengn makanan kucing je..lgpun dh bnyk berlaku org bli kucing yg lawa2,pastu jual blik..."

Please share your thoughts.

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Eve

Default Re: A direct remark of an animal lover - is it too offensive or simply he was trying to reach out..

Good day Marcelleve,

Regarding to the remark, what he/she can be agreeable, though he/she may sound a little hasty, he/she is trying to reach out.

It should not be an excuse to sell off the cats knowing it is already over populated, it doesn't portray that he/she can't manage to take care of them, but rather seem like he/she is a mata duitan (money grubber).

As everyone would find and share here in PetFinder.my, the best way to counter the issue is neuter/spay them. By selling the new born may cause a new access to breed without any assurance that they will be in good hands.

Hi Adrian,

Thank you for your comment.

There are good things for us human as well. No unwanted pets in the streets.. less trash and less fear from people themselves especially uneducated mongrels who take bad actions against dogs either beating them up , poisoning or throwing stones at them whenever the dogs are nearby like the only rabies are only coming from dogs...

I believe in neuter. The unwanted pets do not become pests for others.
People should wake up and face the fact that we are are overpopulated by unwanted pets who have few animal lovers to welcome them in their loving home.

For the sake of environment and health (less animal cruelty, less animal attacks, less diseases .. etc..)
