Dear all,
There is this pet shop at Taman Bahagia, the same row as Speedmart or near Taman Bahagia LRT station. There is no sign board, hence i believe it is illegal.
The shop is pretty rundown, smells real bad when you pass by. Apart from dogs, i observed the shop is also selling some exotic pets including snake and ferret.
They have several Huskies; I've seen the worker/owner brought almost 10 huskies out to pee and poo by the road side. Sometimes, the dog just poop in front of other shop!
I believe other shop owners nearby have lodged complaints about this illegal pet shop, but so far no action has been taken. Saw some men in uniforms arriving on a weekday to check the shop, but the shop was closed. Hope they would return for another inspection.
Recently, stray cats around the area have gone missing. My friend actually saw one of the untied husky, mauling a poor cat that we believe lives nearby. And the shop owner/employee? Inside the shop doing God-knows-what. The lady totally ignored the cat's cries although my friend shouted repeatedly for the dog to release the cat. Since the dog did not budge, my friend confronted the lady who later dragged the dog back into the shop. If she had kept all the dogs in, this would not have happened. What if that's a child and not a cat!? How irresponsible can she be!!!
If any of you staying near PJ, you can pay a visit to this shop, but they usually only open on weekend.I really hope the authorities would do something about this quickly.
