Hi,
I am a journalist at the Star. I am writing a feature article for the parenting section to share the dilemma new parents face when a baby is on the way.
I am looking for families / young couples who
a. Have a dog / puppy and are also expecting a baby, I would like to know how you think you will cope, are you considering giving the dog / puppy up / do you think it will not be a problem?
b. Parents who decided to give up their dog / puppy after a baby came along due to health / safety / other concerns, or because they felt they could no longer dedicate enough time to the dog, or because the dog changed its behaviour (more barking , jealous ) and they found it difficult to handle.
I have already interviewed a success story (couple copes just fine with dogs and children), but if you think you have a unique story to tell, I am happy to hear it!
Please to email me at
natalie@thestar.com.my if you have a story to share, and think it would be of benefit to other new parents out there. If, for whatever reason you are uncomfortable using your own name we can use a pseudonym.
Thanks,
Natalie
