I'm also teaching at one of the colleges here in Kuantan and here at the hostels many students feed the stray cats and i encourage them to. Selalu ingatkan mereka supaya sayangkan kucing2 ni, dan dalam facebook siap syida dah marah ada budak2 yang kompelen tak suka roommate bg makan kucing sebab busuk laa, kotor la. Syida jawab "Cats are not dirty, humans are". Terdiam semua hehehe. Cumanya sedih bila time cuti sem, haruslah semua kelaparan (semua org dah balik bercuti termasuklah lecturer2 sekali) and bila bukak semester baru, semuanya kurus2 aje...

Cuma masih tak berkemampuan mahu tangkap mereka n neuter diorg. nantilah bila ekonomi dah mengizinkan sikit, akan ku buat sekor2. hehe.

*sori lari tajuk sikit!*
Kuantannnnnnnn!!
Tu tempat target nak settle down in the future nanti Hehe :D
Life kt Kuantan okay tak? Bnyk vet clinic & pet shop?

Saya student final year B.Ed TESL. Last 2 years saya kt UIA, July hari tu baru balik Maktab semula. Kt UIA kawan2 suka bagi makan stray cats jugak. Saya nak beli tiap2 bulan tak cukup budget, kadang2 bagi duit skit kat kawan2, kira pitch in jugak la
Bagus Syida ada galakkan students bagi makan & buat baik dengan kucing. Some people cakap kotor la, buat semak la.
Hmm kenapa la ada pemikiran macam tu..Nanti dah ada anak2 pass down dekat diorang pulak

"Cats are not dirty, humans are"

Saya pun terfikir kucing2 dekat flat ni nak makan apa bila semua orang balik kampung

Nanti saya dah keje & ada income sendiri saya ingat nak buat macam apa yang members kat forum ni buat. Help stray animals, give them food & shelter etc, & Insya Allah saya akan hantar strays pegi neuter.
And I will try my hardest to educate our children to love animals and the environment. Hopefully they can pass it on to their own children.

By the way, I'm feeling soooo much better :D Someone has come forward to adopt little Becky
Saya bagitau kawan2 serumah, semua sedih nak berpisah dengan Becky. She really is the baby of the house.

Sekarang Odie & Putih dah tergolek kekenyangan kat dapur lepas makan tadi
Becky pulak landing atas beg saya. Dua2 colour hitam, kadang2 x perasan dia ada kt situ. Bila nampak kaki dia colour putih baru tau dia ada kat situ

*hugs Becky Odie Putih tightly*

Selamat Berbuka semua! :)

@shima: Haa, dont mention dear! Biasa la tu dah pening kalut serabut kan. hee~

*pats* As for the 4 kittens, lets pray for the best. I hope diorang sihat and bila dah sampai masa, someone will take ALL 4 of them home.

Haa betul tuu! Becky is the black one right? He's too small, kalau orang tak pandai jaga and give up tengah2 jalan masalah besar tu. *nods* So better, kalau shima betul nak bawak balik, bawak Becky balik uu~

OHH! jadi shima decides nak bawak diorang balik? Aww, May Allah bless you dear! and they are just kittens I bet its going to be real ringan, sampai ke sekilo? Uuu, nanti shima try to slow talk to your mom, its Ramadhan pun, mana tau dia pun lembut hati, tak sampai hati and ended up nak jaga the cats betul2 sampai besar kan? :)

Alamak, your're going to Perth? Hmm, Masa diorang tak ada tu, ada orang dekat rumah? If you're going somewhere only for a while, maybe you can try asking someone to look after them for a while?

"It does make you feel helpless when you know the reality and yet there isn't much that you can do about it."

It is sooo true shima! :( I cant bear to see strays but tak ade kemampuan nak tolong. The night I found Orange I was super clueless and helpness, I did nothing but cried like and idiot for hours, macam sha pulak yang sakit isk isk. I hope someday in future, I can do my own shelter program in my own house. Trap-Neuter-Release, lets pray for a better future for all animals out there!

p/s: wahh bestnyaa korang cikguu! nak jugakk. and shimaa, ambil TESL bestnya, mind if I PM you nak interview sikit? HAHAHA *is smacked*

@syidajaafar: "Cats are not dirty, humans are"
I whole heartedly agreed. huhu. Hoping that in future, the animals can have a better future. Sedih la tengok.

Ramai jugak cikgu2 TESL kt sini rupanya ye. Bolehlah kita buat persatuan..hehe

To rawr2buny, you are always welcomed to join the club hehehe.

For me, TESLians are always the happiest students in universities where we are envied by other students from other faculties/courses. Learning English is fun and indeed, we HAD fun.

Gosh. How I miss my days as a TESL student *sigh*

Ops! lari topic dah jauh betul ni. Tahap marathon dah. hehehe

By the way, kem salam kat Odie n Putih ya. Minat la tgk Putih tu, comel la beliau! Hug Hug Kiss Kiss!

yerp, that's how I remember my 6 years student days. All about fun fun fun, plus I'm minoring in English Literature..adding more fun there..you know, Shakespeare, story telling ( theatrical way ) , theater itself, play, writing scripts and also the fun of expressing ourselves. Now, it's my turn to train my students for drama competitions. It's really fun to be among TESL teachers and also music teachers. Combination of 2 gives you a superb play 2 years once. And do not forget, we are actually forgiven when we are being frank/cakap lepas ( as they say, diorang budak TESL). But beware, you might be having a little bit problem when adjusting among teachers with orthodox kinda thinking.. but as long as you be your true self , you'll be happy ( minus the overwhelming paper work and 6 days a week working days~)

marathon melampau kan..bukaklah thread baru..

I whole heartedly agreed. huhu. Hoping that in future, the animals can have a better future. Sedih la tengok.
Yup Becky's the little black beauty Mula2 masa dapat dia (jumpa dalam kotak kat tepi longkang ), ada sikit ragu2, sebab muka dia tak macam kitten Macam rupa anak civet pun ada sikit2. Tapi sah2 kitten sebab dia mengiau kuat sangat. Lapar betul time jumpa tu..*sniffs* Sekarang dah besar (cikit je), sedih pulak nak berpisah. Becky duduk rumah orang baik2 tau, jangan buat hal & poop/pee merata

Nanti pergi Perth Mak ada rumah. Dia tak pegi sama Sedih raya ni tak cukup 1 family. Mak raya dengan my eldest brother & sister in law, saya dengan ayah & elder brother. Tapi at least ada la orang dekat rumah. Kalau balik kampung pun, dalam sehari je. Selalu kami letak makanan banyak2. Harap2 tak ada masalah raya ni. Tak sabar nak balik rumah tengok kucing-kucing!

How's Orange now? Sedih tengok gambar dia, and bila baca Sha describe injuries dia. About your arguments with you Mum, I hope she will see it your way (& Orange's way!). Setakat ni saya tak pernah jumpa strays yang cedera. Risau pulak nanti kalau ada, nak bawak pergi vet dekat mana. The only nearest vet (other than government-owned) is 30 minutes away and taklah seberapa umm how do I say...equipped? Saya pulak tak boleh drive (oops), so amat susah kalau nak bawak pergi sendiri.

Nak interview apa? :P Okay je kalau Sha nak tanya2 course tu macam mana. So far it's been a lot of fun. TESL girls always have a lot of fun! I'm sure Syida & NurKasih will agree.
6 years rasa kejap je, rasa macam tak nak habis belajar :P

Ooh ye ke? Living cost mahal pulak...Hmm mana saya nak settle down ni? Ingatkan tinggal kat Kuantan okay, tapi mungkin la nak kena reconsider...Saya tak nak settle down di Kelantan

Yay Syida & Kasih pun TESL grads! Hehe it's nice to meet people who know what it's like being a TESLian, having first hand experience. And people who want to join the TESL club *hugs Sha*
Sha you SHOULD be a teacher. The country needs more people who are passionate about life; human or non-human. I'm sure you would be a valuable addition

Dah berapa post ni, asyik lari tajuk je

Just nak add...tak payah tunggu grad and masuk sekolah, di Maktab pun ramai orang yang pemikirannya terkebelakang (susahnya nak eja! berapa kali typo :P). Sangat2 backward. Shame on them! Nama saja educators and professionals and education students. I bet they are just jealous we're having so much fun

(Odie tak puas hati mummy dia asyik layan laptop, tak layan dia :P Ooh panjat meja cari botol susu dia rupanya )

Another thing! I'm taking 'Teaching Literature in Primary School' this semester! So far it's my favourite subject (not counting in the workload, of course ) Tido mandi makan, asyik kena fikir pasal lesson plan

@TESLians: i created a thread already dekat coffee room:
http://forums.petfinder.my/showthrea...7998#post87998
hehe tak tahu la sha merapu ape dalam tu, didnt check twice before posting, sila layan sha & beri tunjuk ajar m(_ _)m *dengan muka tak malu*

@shima: Aww poor thing, nasib baik ada shima their saviour! Tabik respect lah, bukan senang nak ambil strays bawa balik lagi2 dalam keadaan shima, huhuu. Being a student, down side nye is: tak ada duit. Hee i bet he's gonna grow up fast, my lil Kyon rasa kejap je setiap hari nampak die macam makin besar (or was it just me) hehe. Oh yes yes, kalau nak hilang rindu, nanti suruh la adopter tu buat profile Becky dekat PF ni and ask him/her to upload Becky's pictures from time to time. Nak jugak tengok dia besar kan

Ahaa i see, insyaAllah tak ade ape tu, doa banyak2 hehe. Ohhh rumah shima memang ade banyak kucing ke? Aww *pats* same here. huhuhu raya ni pun tak cukup family. Dad's busy with work dekat Bahrain so he wont be coming home this raya too. Hee but atleast boleh la tu ada jugak family dengan kita kan, like my friends yang belajar kat overseas ada pulak yang tak dapat balik kesiannn diorang

Hmm Orange is a good boy, he's fine for now, and nampaknye he already can stand on his own semua. Its creepy to see the stitches on his tummy though. Shima ada tengok his latest pictures? :) But poor Orange, the biopsy test result, Orange positive ada cancer (his wound). The wound can never be healed, it will slowly slowly spread sampai la ke akhir! Lastly doc cakap it will result in PTS, tapi not now, since Orange is still strong & happy. Poor Orange. For now, since Orange is currently hospitalized at the vet, my mom dah tak bising, thanks Allah. tsk tsk. Dia ada mood, kadang kesian jap lagi dia bising and it goes on.

*hi5s* yaaa tak boleh drive because I dont know if I've got some kind of traumas ke ape tak minat nak drive. pergi seminar driving je dah homesick. tsk tsk. mama sha dah bising GILA GILA marah GILA GILA. i cant run anymore, lepas habis practical Im sure kena paksa jugak.

Hmm even the government vet pun tak OK ke? o_O Huu jumpe injured strays menakutkan! I hope I can overcome my fear of sick cats so that one day I can become a rescuer too. isk isk. shahila ni penakot laaa. *smacks self*
