I have been housing 7 feral cats and feeding/saving countless of strays cats and dogs in my neighborhood (within a landed property area in Georgetown, Penang) for the past 3 years. A few months' back I had received a notice from the owner of the rented house to move out by November 2009. I had been contacting and advertising for the adoption for some of the cats but until today I have not found anyone suitable to adopt them.
I'm in the midst of shifting to an small apartment but the space would not be sufficient to house so many cats. Moreover, the multilevel apartment would be full of human activities which would not be suitable/safe for cats to linger around.
