Taking care of a kitten - HELP NEEDED!
Hi guys, need a little bit of help here. I just got myself a 2-month old kitten. And I have no idea what's the first thing I need to do besides giving it vaccination.
Any help?

Re: Taking care of a kitten - HELP NEEDED!
Hi, first, awak kena beli 2 jenis makanan untuk dia. kibble (makanan kering/biskut) & canned (makanan tin). but, kalau boleh, biar dia belajar untuk makan kibble dulu, kalau dia tak boleh go on, baru bagi yang canned punya tapi jangan bagi selalu.
always tetapkan 2x for kibble & 1x for canned each day dengan kuantiti yang sederhana. kalau boleh, belilah makanan yang elok sikit, seperti blackwood/total equilibrio/royal canin.. ni untuk dia kekal sihat tanpa penyakit. makanan komersial seperti smartheart ni banyak kandungan yang tak elok untuk kucing yang membolehkan kucing mempunyai masalah kidney.
beli litter box (with cover) and cat litter untuk toilet training (supaya dia tak break kencing merata-rata. then, last sekali, tempat tido dia, kalau nakkan dia tido berasingan, buat 1 kotak kecik dan letak kain yang lembut kat dalamnya untuk kitten tu tido.
mula2 memang sakit jugaklah nak menjaga, train bagai, tapi nanti dah lama2, dia akan okay. :)
hopefully, pandangan saya helpful. thanks.

Re: Taking care of a kitten - HELP NEEDED!
juz get the basic: food, litter box, litter sand, comb (even if its a short-haired) spend more on food, like ayuazami said, buy better quality ones like she mentioned. don spend too much on toys, kittens prefer the plain old box, paper crumble, plastic bags than expensive toys. get a scratch pad unless u dun mind the kitty scratching ur sofas/carpets. if u plan to cage the kitty, pls get the biggest cage u could afford. n u need a carrier too.
health wise: vaccination, deworm, deflea. if u could afford it, get the kitty tested for Feline leukemia (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV).
the most important thing: give the kitty lotsa TLC. play, talk, cuddles. but pls keep all tissue away or u'll have a house full of 'snow'.

Re: Taking care of a kitten - HELP NEEDED!
I had my cat when he was a baby, 1 month old baby. I have him a diluted goat milk mix with wet food ( innova evo ) at that time. I gave him kibble when he is about 4 months old. I also giving him cod liver oil.
Get a good food to avoid vet, no grain is better. When you give ur cat a good food they developed amazingly, great shiny fur, and active behavior.
