Default My kitten

sigh hazel my kitten has a cut on her hind leg i treated it already but she won't sit still. Put antibiotics and everything. But i'll see if it gets better if not im taking her to the vet. She's walking fine and everything. How she got that cut i reckon she be playing in places she ain't suppose too. Jumping and playing normally. But still she's making me worry again. Maybe I should take her to the vet today? What do you think?

i think that a safer environment is needed for kittens as they are very active and playful. mind the high drops and sharp edges, minding kittens is just like minding babies.
and also definitely take a close lookout when your kitten is playing with ropes or threads as the ropes may accidentally strangle the kitten.
as for the kittens injury, i think you have done the best you can. just hope that the cut heals. if not definitely bring the kitten to the vet as they definitely know whats best.

regards.

Id prefer to confine the injured ones.

Line the cage and put it in to recuperate. Kittens heal very fast. as soon as the cut closes in about 2-3 days, it can be let out again. No worries. make sure cat doesnt lick the spot where you place the medicine. Maybe an elizabeth collar would help.

Though please do take it off during dinner time. its hard for kittens to feed with it around its neck.
