Adoii, sekor pun dah tak ada masa nak jaga tak kan lah nak pergi ambik sekor lagi ... kalau kucing mcm teddy bear boleh lah, tak perlu jaga ... campak dlm washing machine sahaja maintenance dia ... tapi a cat needs love, medical attention, good food and cuddles which cannot be replaced by another cat (itu pun bukan semua kucing boleh kamceng with one another ...)
Kawan, your cat you kata is sick and he is over 6 years old (tahap umur yg dikira "senior" atau tua ... yg memerlukan special diet utk senior cat, belanja perubatan utk hal-hal kesihatannya akan mula meningkat (sekarang pun dah sakit, ya?), akan memerlukan lebih banyak masa dan perhatian memantau dan menjaga kesihatannya yg kian merosot (kucing tua).
I suggest that since you have been his owner from young, you must make time for him and take good care of him in his old age. I am sure he loves you (dan dah biasa dengan you) and do not want to be sent to live with someone else however loving that new owner (itu pun kalau jumpa) might be because he will definitely be stressed (cats are territorial too).
No matter how impossible your lifestyle might be at the moment, I am sure that if you try hard enough you will be able to schedule some precious moments with the old boy ... and it is important that you do ... you owe it to him because having a pet is a lifetime commitment, just like getting married.
... and now is the time he needs you more than anything else sebab dia dah sakit ... and as an older cat, in reality, he is not gonna get much better, but likely to get much sicker as time goes along. Please give him good cat food specially designed for senior cats.
