Default Dog lovers commonly ask me this question: "My dog didn't eat today - should I worry?"

Today I'd like to answer that question.

In nature, many dogs eat when they get a meal - often a "kill" - which could be every day or every few days. We find that domestic dogs will often eat every other day - that is very common, particularly in larger breed dogs.

We find some breeds and dogs are even less consistent in their eating patterns as the summer approaches and the temperature gets warmer.

The question is, should you WORRY if your dog won't eat.

The answer is - it depends.

If your dog doesn't want to eat one meal but is otherwise drinking, acting playful, and having normal bowel movements and urination with no vomiting, then I probably would not worry. If your dog is lethargic, if his gums are pale, if he seems weak, is vomiting and/or has diarrhea, then I would worry. See your veterinarian.

When my sis's dog(Rosella) was still a pup, my sis tried giving her some apples. She absolutely loved it. A few days later, Rosella stopped eating her kibbles. for the whole day, still drinking and everything but lepak alot in the kitchen whining. my sis got worried and brought her to the vet. the vet checked everything and said there was nth wrong with rosella. She brought Rosella back and the next morning, she still wasn't eating.

Then after lunch my sis family was eating apples, rosella got very excited jumping up and down. So thinking she might be interested, my sis cut them into pieces and gave it to her. She wallop EVERYTHING in seconds.

My sis so 'zha dou' no wonder always tercari cari something in the kitchen wakakakaka

so rosella 'mogok makan' coz she wants to eat apple instead of her kibbles. eventually, she really got hungry and went back eating her kibbles....

This is only one of the many tricks of hers... huhuhu

Remember to remove ALL seeds when you give apple because apple seeds contain arsenic. The toxicity is accumulative in the body and later on as time goes by, the dog will get pale and display signs of arsenic poisoning. I love apples too!
