Eating Male Cat Meat!

There been some rumors going on around Butterworth, Penang area that are people who stole MALE cats from their home in order to makes them into such called "Unforgettable delicious meat ever tasted"

Recently, both of the male cats in my house have gone missing, one have gone missing over 4 months and the other only for a week.

There have been a lot of neighbour also reported cats missing, all of them are male cats, roughly 1 year old.. One of my neighbour have successfully found her cat back in a nearby mamak stall, chain tightly around his neck.

So, cats owner in Butterworth area, beware of this and if possible, do not let your cats wonder outside.

even in kl, I've been told by one of my fren who staying in ampang, cats was eaten by ppl, they once bumped in myanmars chasing the stray cats. earlier they were wondering why they haven't see any cats in the area where they always gathered. plus, his friend's Siamese blue eyes got missing. i think these myanmars eat cats for their free meat source. they sooo pissed off and disturbed and these myanmars get beaten with warning.

I've heard about this too..this really worries me as i'd just lost a cat under the age of 1 yr recently..same goes with some of my neighbor's cats..at least 3 or 4 that i know..this is definitely bad..there are a lot of workers doing construction works around my house..i do suspect them..but no evidence..

now, i just kept my cats most of the time in house..i dont want to lost any one of them anymore..

It really bothers me that these people eat cats..n it is more disturbing that they are eating people's pet..if only there's something we could do..

aside from the total unacceptable act itself, why would anyone wish to eat a cat??? Ewwwwwwww

can't accept ppl eating furry animals. cat/dog/rabbit... maybe it's just me

Well, from the person who actually admit he ate cat meat.. He is a local.. I understand if people who are meat-arian, who love to eat chicken, beef and others but what on earth would someone choose to eat other's pet??

I wonder is there any laws or regulations in Malaysia against eating of cats or dogs meat??

U means the cats might be eaten by those workers?! It kinda makes sense cause I'm living in a new neighbourhood and there is always lots of construction workers around.. Since the neighbour opposite my house start the renovation, my first cat is gone!!

i think it is true esp you get more and more foreigners around
they eat cats, dogs, rabbit and even turtles........

so pls dont leave your pet unattended.....

i dont think there's any regulation on eating cats or dogs..but there should be some regulation on eating other people's pets because these pets does meant a lot to us..we love them, take care of them which makes it really wrong for somebody to just took them, kill, n eat them, right? its just so wrong morally..
